DetailsWe are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the epic action-packed romance, Titanic. Joining us for the evening will be Titanic Historian, Don Lynch.

Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as ill-fated lovers Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater, Titanic weaves an intricate love story set aboard the doomed RMS Titanic in 1912.

The blockbuster film held the No. 1 box-office spot for 15 straight weeks and became the highest-grossing movie of all time, ultimately earning $2.2 billion worldwide — a record it held until Cameron's 2009 film Avatar.

Following the movie will be a Q&A with Titanic Historian, Don Lynch. For many years Don Lynch has been the official Historian for the Titanic Historical Society. In 1992 Don wrote the text for the book Titanic - An Illustrated History which went on to spend twelve weeks on the New YorkTimes’ best seller list.  Director James Cameron hired Don as the historian for his movie, “Titanic,” and in the Summer of 2001 hired Don as consultant to his “Ghosts of the Abyss” project, where they dove to the Titanic in a Russian submersible to film the wreck for his 3-D, large format documentary.
